A clear process, from start to finish
Most adults who reach out to us have spent years wondering. We've designed the evaluation process to be as clear, low-barrier, and affirming as possible — so that getting answers doesn't require navigating another confusing system.
Submit your intake form
5–10 minutesFill out our brief online intake form. We'll ask about what brings you to us, your background, and your availability. No referral needed — you can reach out directly.
We review your intake within 1–2 business days and reach out to confirm eligibility and schedule your first appointment.
Clinical interview
90–120 minutesYour first appointment is an in-depth clinical interview conducted via secure video. We'll talk about your developmental history, current experiences, relationships, work, sensory sensitivities, and the specific challenges that brought you here.
This is a conversation, not an interrogation. You don't need to prepare anything — just show up as you are. We'll guide the discussion.
Standardized assessment
60–90 minutesYour second appointment involves completing gold-standard diagnostic instruments validated for adult autism presentations. These are structured tasks and questionnaires — not a pass/fail test.
You'll also complete some self-report measures on your own time before or between appointments. These take about 30–45 minutes and can be done at home.
Report preparation
1–2 weeksAfter your assessment sessions, your clinician prepares a comprehensive written diagnostic report. This is a detailed clinical document — not a form letter — that reflects the full picture of who you are.
You'll receive your report within 1–2 weeks of completing your final assessment session.
What you receive
Your written diagnostic report is a comprehensive clinical document — yours to keep, share, and use however is most helpful to you.
Diagnostic findings
A clear statement of clinical findings, including whether the evaluation supports an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.
Clinical narrative
A detailed description of your presentation, history, and the specific ways autism does or does not manifest for you — written for you, not just for other clinicians.
Practical recommendations
Concrete recommendations for accommodations, support, and next steps — whether for work, school, healthcare, or personal understanding.
Supporting documentation
A report you can share with employers, academic institutions, healthcare providers, or anyone else who needs to understand your needs.
